Kellogg Farmhouse
Scroll to viewNestled on a small lot in the Arden Park neighborhood of Edina, this new home was designed to replace the owners smaller home for their quickly growing family. The home was envisioned as a fresh take on the traditional farmhouse. Using traditional materials and massing, the home harkens back to historic farmhouses with its simple gable forms and shed dormers. Inside, the simple rusticity of the exterior continues with the use of hand-hewn timber beams and columns throughout the main level. Many of the furnishings are heirloom pieces passed down through the owner’s family for generations.

The kitchen island features a stainless steel top and white oak base with tapered legs, while a rounded corner cabinet compliments the upper cabinetry
