Northome Lakehouse
Scroll to viewOur clients came to us with three objectives: “design us a building that could serve our lake storage needs, provide a hangout space inside and out, and we don’t want it to block the view of the lake from the main house.” We responded with a stone structure that is embedded into the existing hill, completely hiding itself from view when viewed from above. A sod roof provides an additional elevated seating area that appears as uninterrupted lawn. Additionally, a side garage allows for plenty of storage room, while a pergola covers an outdoor shower adjacent to the main lounging spaces.
