Scandinavian Boathouse
Scroll to viewAs a companion to our Moonlight Cottage Residence and neighboring Liten Hus Boathouse, this structure was influenced by small outbuildings from Norway, Denmark, and Iceland (as well as Minnesota’s own Scandinavian heritage). The owner’s of this boathouse opted for the simple forms and authentic colors those Nordic regions are known for. With a 50 foot grade difference between the main house and boathouse, it was imperative to design a building that was full of function, yet playful at the same time.
